Teaching a friend on how to edit using adobe lightroom (S)
Me and one of my friends typically go planespotting every now and then. We usually planespot around Soekarno Hatta International Airport (CGK) in Jakarta. Afterwards we would have about 100-300 pictures in that day. I learned how to edit in lightroom before him, it took me a while to grasp all of the settings and concepts. After a while, my friend asked me to teach him how to edit in lightroom. He already did some self-learning And i offered him for me to teach him to to use most of the tools provided in lightroom, he said sure.

After the learning session, he edited one of his pictures and this is the result.

I could see some improvements compared to his old edits; he improved with the masking and exposure settings. He just needs some adjustments before making a better result.
One of the LO i experience is demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience. I noticed that he had some problems with masking and using the niche tools such as curve, color grading, and more. my goal is to improve my friend with the lightroom editing tools. I gave a simple rundown of all the tools that i was going to teach him, from simple adjustments to color grading and masking. After the session, he edited a picture of ANA Boeing 787-9 and i found some improvements over the color mix.
My second LO is demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process. I always have difficulty on trying to explain a subject or material, even though i understand it thoroughly. During the teaching process, i encountered that same problem once again, though as time progresses i began to feel more cohesive in teaching with some minor slip ups. I also asked him if he has questions regarding the topic if my explanation was too broad or unclear so i can re-explain the topic with an easier understanding of the concept. I undergone a challenge of explaining and developed a better skill on how to teach.
Overall, i was happy to teach him about how to edit in adobe lightroom
