Running (A)
It's been a while since i ran...
So i did!
I did an exercise which is running around my neighborhood for 2 kilometre which is my typical target for each session. During the run i noticed some elevation changes with a downhill for around 100 metre and a steady and barely noticeable uphill. Though around 1.6 kilometre rain started to pour in so i had to stop under a roof in an abandoned house... The rain didn't stop until 40 minutes later (It was still pouring but very light rain) i resumed my run is 400 metres remaining back to my house.
My first LO is identify own strengths and develop areas for growth. What i noticed from all of my past runs is that my pace is in the low 9 minutes per kilometre excluding endurance which is typical for a new runner. With my latest run, i managed to clock in around the low 8 minutes per kilometre excluding endurance. I developed a higher pace for running compared to my old runs and will continue to grow as i kept training myself in the future.
My second LO is demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process. I noticed from my previous runs that i lack endurance in pretty much all of my runs. With this new run, i found that my endurance improved a bit but not much, but i was still happy with the improvement nonetheless.
